Design Process

The process of working with Greener Lives is simple and client friendly.

How does it work? Here's a summary of a typical timeline.

• You contact Greener Lives by phone (520-548-6812) or email (pamela@greenerlives.net) to discuss your design project.

• We will set up an appointment to meet at your home, your home in progress or our office - whichever is appropriate and convenient.

• At our first meeting, we will discuss your design needs and interests. One hour of the first design consultation is complementary for Tucson-area projects.

• After our first meeting, we will take photos and measurements of your home if floor plans are required. Then, we will develop a design tailored to your home and your needs, which may include space planning, remodeling, a color palette, furniture selections, flooring options, fixtures, accessories, window coverings and/or other options.

• At our next meeting, we will review with you the design and materials that we have developed for your home.

• Subsequent meetings will refine the plans and the material selections to create the final design.

• We will schedule meetings with contractors to get bids for any construction or installation included in the design.

• We will place purchase orders through local retailers and/or vendor catalogs for your merchandise, coordinate with the architect and contractors working on your home, and follow through on the completion of your home's interior design.

The end result: A beautiful and functional home with the healthy and eco-friendly features that meet your needs and budget.
